The Homemade Hummus I Can't Stop Making
Whether you're hosting friends, bringing an appetizer to a gathering, or simply craving a fresh and flavorful snack, this homemade hummus is one of my favorite recipes to make. It's creamy, simple, and comes together with just a handful of ingredients. Pair it with a colorful crudité platter, and you have an effortless spread that's as beautiful as it is delicious.
Easy Homemade Hummus for Entertaining
Ingredients
1 can of chickpeas
Aquafaba (liquid from canned chickpeas)
¼ cup of tahini
¼ of olive oli
3 minced garlic cloves
Juice of one whole lemon
Salt and pepper to taste
In a food processor, combine all of the ingredients. Gradually add the aquafaba until the hummus reaches your desired smoothness. Add salt and pepper to taste. Once the hummus is smooth to your liking, transfer it to a serving bowl and garnish with a drizzle of olive oil and a pinch of paprika. Serve chilled with a crudité platter or warm pita bread.
